The Z-Mike 1100 Series Laser Dimension Sensors incorporate the latest advances in scanning laser measurement, including built-in auto-calibration. Simply place a part inside the laser beam path and an accurate dimension is instantly displayed. There is no need to calibrate our systems to your part sizes.
Z-Mike's high-quality, collimating optics produce a precision scanning laser beam for the 1101 and 1102 sensors. No beam centering fixtures or holding fixtures are needed. A part is accurately dimensioned when it is placed anywhere within the measurement range. All Z-Mike sensors include a temperature-stabilized optical design, so a clean room or a constant temperature environment is not necessary to obtain accurate measurements.
The Z-Mike Model 382-Z Dimensional Measurement Processor is a highly- advanced, easy-to-use affordable solution for many measurement applications. The Model 382-Z receives measurement data from up to four sensors, displays results on an LCD display/touchscreen, computes Statistical Quality Control (SQC) data, and allows you to define mathematical equations to calculate other desired values. The Model 382-Z is designed to be used with the 1100 Series Laser Dimensional Sensors. Since the Model 382-Z can communicate with up to four different sensors, you can measure and monitor four separate products or you can orient two single-axis sensors at 90º apart to monitor product ovality. Or you can "stack" two sensors to measure larger products while maintaining the accuracy of a smaller sensor. Up to 32 parts can be measured in one sensor's gate area. The Model 382-Z's user interface is simple, colorful, and menu-driven. The LCD touchscreen makes it easy to setup and operate, and three user-programmable pushbuttons are available for easy access to frequently-used functions.
